Why Nature-Cide???

The benefits of cedar wood oils are not "old wives' tales." In fact, many homeowners today are rediscovering the knowledge of their grandmother who had a cedar chest to protect her "valuables." Here at Nature-Cide, we recognize she was ahead of her time and absolutely correct.

Using aromatic red cedar as a pesticide is not a new idea. The Cedars of Lebanon were used to build King Solomons' Tomb. The Egyptians used papaya leaves soaked in cedar oil in the mummification process to preserve their dead. Our pioneering forefathers as well as many American restaurants owners today use cedar sawdust on the floors to rid them from numerous pests. Native Americans would rub their bodies with cedar needles and cedar paste to prevent mosquitoes and other biting bugs from feasting on them.

All insects breathe through their bodies. When they are exposed to the fumes of Nature-Cide’s cedar and cinnamon oil mixture, they are quickly overwhelmed and their mental capacities are impaired. If no escape is available, they exhaust themselves to death, simple as that!  Enzymes are a class of proteins that greatly increase the rate of chemical reactions in an organism. The enzymes in our Nature-Cide products are designed to break down Protein. Insects like Lice, Scabies, Bedbugs, Mites, Ants, fleas, Cockroaches... are all made up of protein. Insects use enzymes to shed their exoskeletons, so when our product comes in contact with the insect it rapidly reacts with the exo skeleton of the bug and starts reacting with the protein. This results in premature shedding of its exo skeleton (molting ... shedding its outer skin) when it is not ready to molt resulting in death.

So if you are using baits to attract more bugs to kill, STOP and use Nature-Cide and rid your home of the pests you already have. If termites, Ants, Fleas and other pests are troubling your home Nature-Cide will drive them out in a hurry.

Nature-Cide...sometimes nature needs a little science.
